Anna is a semi-dwarf variety of Golden Delicious apple. The fruit is large with a soft red blush against a yellow-green skin. The flesh is firm, juicy, creamy white with a distinctive sweet flavor. Perfect eaten fresh, baked, or preserved.
Plant in full sun and well-drained soil. The Anna apple is partially self-fertile and may produce fruit with only one tree. It is suggested to plant a pollination partner. Some suggested pollinating partners are Gala, Golden Delicious and Dorsett Golden. They flourish in warmer climates because they require a low number of chill hours. Average height 30′-40′ and 20′-30′ wide. Required Chill Hours: 200. USDA hardiness zones 6 through 9.
