The Moorpark Apricot tree blooms in early spring with showy pink-white fragrant blooms. This tree will produce freestone large firm yellow fruit. It has the perfect balance of sweet and juicy. Fruit will be ready to harvest in July and August. This apricot is perfect for eating fresh, baking, canning and dehydrating.
Plant in full sun with well-drained loamy soil. Moorpark is self-pollinating; however, adding an additional Moorpark Apricot Tree will drastically increase the size of your crop. Average height 15′-20′ and 10′ – 20′ width. Required Chill Hours: 600-700. USDA hardiness zones 4 – 8.
