Shinko Asian Pear Tree (Pyrus pyrifolia ‘Shinko’)

The Shinko Asian pear combines the crunch of apples with the sweetness of pears. This variety produces medium sized fruit with a yellow or golden-brown skin and firm white flesh. This pear is crisp and less juicy making it perfect for eating fresh, salads, tortes, dehydrating and other dishes that benefit from lower sugary juice content.
