The Dorsett Golden apple tree produces medium sized fruit that resembles the Golden Delicious apple with a yellow skin and a pink blush. The flesh is crisp and firm with a sweet flavor. This apple is perfect for eating fresh, in salads, cooking and baking.

Soil: Well-drained loamy soil with a slightly acidic pH level.

Water: Water weekly until established. Water established trees deeply as needed. You may need to water more often in times of extreme heat or drought.

The flesh is crisp and firm with a sweet flavor. The fruit will be ready for harvest in June to early July. This apple is perfect for eating fresh, in salads, cooking and baking.

Plant in full sun in well-draining soil. The Dorsett Golden is partially self-pollinating. You may get fruit with only one tree, but it is strongly suggested to have a pollinating partner. It pairs well for pollination with Anna. A low-chilling apple that does very well in warm winter climates. Average height 30′ and 30′ wide. Required Chill Hours: 100-200. USDA hardiness zones 6 – 9.
