Ozark Premier Plum Tree (Prunus salicina ‘Ozark Premier’)

The Ozark Premier plum tree blooms in early spring with white showy flowers. It produces large red plums with yellow, juicy, and tart flesh perfect for eating, canning and making jelly.

Sunlight: Full sun minimum 6 hrs per day.

Soil: Well-drained loamy or sandy soil with a pH level of 5.5 to 6.5

Water: Water weekly until established. Water established trees deeply as needed.

Fertilizer: Use a balanced fertilizer in the spring.

The Ozark Premier plum tree has a wide spreading canopy that will bloom in early spring with white showy flowers. Ozark Premiere produces large red freestone plums with yellow, juicy, and tart flesh. It is perfect for eating fresh, canning and making jelly. Harvested in mid to late summer.

Plant in full sun and in well-drained loamy or sandy soil. This variety is self-pollinating, but planting pollinating partners can increase the size of your crops.  Height 10′ – 20′ and width 10′ – 20′. Required Chill Hours: 700-800. USDA hardiness zones 5 – 9.
