The Red Haven peach tree is fast growing semi-freestone variety that produces a firm, sweet, and juicy medium sized fruit. An early bloomer in March or April with pinkish white flowers. The Red Haven fruit is ready to harvest in July. An excellent choice for eating fresh, baking, and canning.
Plant in full sun and well-drained loamy or sandy soil. Red Haven is partially self-pollinating. You may get fruit with just one tree but planting a pollinating partner like a second Red Haven or an Elberta peach nearby will increase your fruit production. Average height 15′ and width 10′. Required Chill Hours: 800. USDA hardiness zone 5-9.
